How to make a website with SmallWeb in 5 steps

It's as easy as this:

  1. Picking Your Site's Plan:
Choose your plan, location and billing period from SmallWeb's multiple hosting offers which are powered by DirectAdmin- all starting from only £2.50 per year!

  2. Invoice and Payment:
Your invoice will be generated when you submit your order for processing. Once you've paid via PayPal, Cryptocurrency or UK Bank Transfer your service will automatically be activated.

  3. Account Detail Email:
Yay! Your service is now ready to be used once you receive your "New Service Activated" welcome email, which includes everything you need to get your website going.

Username: Use this username to login to your website's control panel. This is where you will manage, track and build your website.

Password: Keep this safe! This is your password used to login to your website's control panel. It's very important you don't share it.

Hostname: This is the direct link to your website's control panel. You'll need to visit this link to manage your website. It may be a good idea to bookmark it or save it.

Nameservers: At your domain registrar, enter the given nameservers so that your domain can point to the SmallWeb server you're hosted on. Please be patient while you wait for your website to be publically visible to the internet. This process is called propogation, and can take up to 48 hours. But it's usually a lot quicker than that for most people.

  4. Uploading Your Website (Optional):
If your website is ready to upload and go live, let's go! Directadmin comes with an extensive File Manager so you can easily modify, upload and download your website's files. As well as that, you're able to upload and extract compressed files, download your files, remove files, copy files, paste files and edit the permissions of your files.

  5. Building Your Website (Optional):
All SmallWeb Shared & Reseller Hosting plans come with the Softaculous Apps Installer for free, which includes over 300 popular apps such as WordPress that you can install
